Configure WampServer 3.0.0 Virtual Host on windows 10 64 bit

I spent some time to configure WampServer 3.0.0. Local host was working fine but setting new project was an issue. To resolve this problem we need to setup virtual host. I figure out and sharing here.
I am using following version

  1. wamp version 3.0.0
    1. Apache is 2.4.17
    2. PHP: 5.6.16
    3. MySQL: 5.7.9
    4. Windows 10 64 bit
  2. I have these configurations:
    1. Find httpd.conf file. In my case C:\wamp64\bin\apache\apache2.4.17\conf
    2. Search for # Virtual hosts and uncomment the following line
    3. Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf
  3. Now locate httpd-vhosts.conf, available in extra folder and add following lines

  1. Apache 2.4.x is IPV4 ( 127.0.0.1 ) and IPV6 (::1) aware so your hosts file should look like this with definitions for both IPV4 and IPV6 versions for each site. The browser can arbitrarily use either so you need both but will probably use the IPV6 network in preference to the IPV4 if both are actually active on your PC.
  2. Search for Notepad and run as administrator. Locate hosts file.. hosts file is without any extension. So don’t try to save it as a txt file. On my computer hosts file is at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

127.0.0.1   localhost

::1  localhost

127.0.0.1   test

::1  test

  1. Once you have made all these changes remember to restart Apache.
  2. You should either reboot or run these command from the command line of a command windows started ising the Runs as Administrator option.
